E-LOAN (Jan 2001 to Nov 2007) Senior Software Engineer – Empower, Delphi Created and maintained custom software using FNIS Empower. This included business logic, user forms, interfaces to other internal and external services. Interviewed and helped hire developers and analysts to build a very productive and successful team. Was a key player in 5 major upgrades from FNIS and supported our user base with timely upgrades and training. As the senior programmer I trained incoming programmers, created documentation, policies and procedures, and reviewed code. As the original member of this team, I directly trained most of the other 18 team members, including Business Analysts, QA, and Developers. I had a leadership role in many projects and float easily between coding, teaching, managing, and preparing documentation. I am currently teaching a class on C#.NET and ASP.NET for our team. Provided topic presentations on key systems for the Empower, Java, and Perl programmers. Assisted business analysts and project managers with creating and revising project plans. Designed and completed 5 auxiliary projects in Delphi 5 and 7. These programs provide: a drag and drop interface to allow users to attach any electronic message (word, txt, pdf, tif) to a loan application; a fast way to export loans in bulk for evaluation by an investor (like Wells Fargo); a system that automatically exports loan disclosures for borrowers to view online; a chron process that performs business logic on loans that have been modified outside the Empower UI; A complete TWAIN scanner application that allows paper documents to be attached to loan applications. I am involved in a project to convert our existing Empower software to the new Empower.NET framework. I have done 5 months of occasional coding in C#.NET and ASP.NET. Some of the projects I was the primary architect and programmer for are: Online Loan Disclosures, Document Scanning, Doing Business As (generalizing the software and database so E-Loan could process loans for other entities), Product and Pricing (internal program that allows users to create the loan products that are used on the rates search engine). I was also a key participant in all FNIS Empower upgrades at E-Loan from version 19 though 30. As a programmer for over 8+ years in the Empower group, I played a large and small role in hundreds of projects and was a primary knowledge base in the planning phases of many of these projects. E-LOAN (May 1999 to Jan 2001: contract) Software Engineer Coordinated E-Loan’s Y2K compliance project. Wrote test specifications, set up test lab, put together complete compliance documentation. [3 months] Returned to Eloan to help adapt the Empower Loan Origination System to Eloan's needs. Wrote end-user documentation. Destiny Telecomm (1997 6 month contract through agent) Programmer/Analyst Delphi 2 and 3 Client/Server.
