Have a problem with Paradox 9 ...

Have a problem with Paradox 9 ... in Paradox Tables topic (part of our Corel Paradox / ObjectPAL Coding group).

Have a problem with Paradox 9 running on XP Pro workstation.  Been running this for several years on a Server with XP Pro OS.  Have two workstations attached to the Server. One workstation developed a problem of not finding a record in the Master Table on a form we have used for years.  The record is there when checked but will not display on the form.

On the premiss that the software had developed a cliche on this one machine, removed Paradox 9 and reinstalled.  No change.  No data is stored on the workstation just the software.

The other workstation has no problem finding these records and neither does the Server.

Cannot scroll to the desired record though scrolling to other records not a problem however, moving cursor to another field in another table on the same form, scrolling to the desired record is no problem.  Seems to be something with the previous record or next record in this Master Table field that is the keyed field.  What am I missing?

Got any ideas.  May be a hardware problem now.  Tech says no.

You indicated that the data was stored on the server.  Where is the code, forms, reports etc.?  What service packs have you installed on the PC's and server?

My understanding from Mike Prestwood and others is that table corruption sometimes shows up like this. Have you tried table repair?

Also make sure you delete any stray .lck and net files.
