Best place to put code to update timestamp (form)

Best place to put code to update timestamp (form) in ObjectPAL topic (part of our Corel Paradox / ObjectPAL Coding group).

Quick Search: timestamp   Best place   Best place put   code update   timestamp (form)

I want to have a modified timestamp that gets updated every time a record gets changed.  I do have a timestamp field, and the default value is NOW.  However, this only sets a date and time on initial record creation.   Thus it appears that in order to update the timestamp I should do it via code just prior to the record being posted.  What is the best location for this?  In the forms Action method?  Which event should I be looking for?  Thanks.

Your right on the location.  Trap for the DataPostRecord and athe DataUnlockRecord event, then set the value of the timestamp field.
