Hi people.  I've been running Pdox since 1978.  I'm testing Pdox45 (DOS) on a Windows 7 32 bit installation.  Everything works great with one huge exception:  When tables are on the Netware 5.11 server, only tables with 8-character names will appear in the "View" list.  You can open tables with less characters in their name, if you know ahead of time what the table name is.  Crazy?! Google was no help.  Maybe one of the original Pdox DOS gurus can shed some light on the problem.

Following up with some more testing.  So far, the issue seems to be related to the Novell client not getting along with Paradox 4.5 for DOS.  The machine is running the latest Netware client software for Windows 7 which is currently Client 2 SP3.  A few more observations:

{Tools}{Info}{Inventory}{Tables} only shows tables with 8 character names plus the paradox-generated table "List"

{Tools}{Info}{Inventory}{Scripts} only shows tables with 8 character names plus "List" and "Instant"

{Tools}{Info}{Inventory}{Files} works correctly

Paradox 11 lists tables correctly

Calls to all tables via PAL work fine.  So far the issue seems to be isolated to the listing display inside Paradox.

Anybody else see this behavior?  Can't believe I'm the only user  to have this issue!
