Owners Getting Started:
Static versus Dynamic Content
Posted 11 years ago on 4/29/2008
Take Away: A static website is like a brochure. A dynamic website uses a database to present large amounts of data.

A static web site can help your business present your products, services, and any other information you want your visitors to have access to. We can even add an affordable e-commerce solution. If all you want to do is present information (a good first step at Internet advertising), then a static web site is all you need. Building a static web site is relatively simple because the development technology is simple to use. A dynamic web site is required for content such as online databases, e-business, collaborative content, membership, private areas, knowledge base, a resume/jobs database, etc.
